Fragrance Superstar of the Year Top Ten Finalists

“Just as the perfumer’s do when they are creating a fragrance, The Fragrance Foundation likes to mix things up a bit, add an extra note of anticipation, a drop of tension,” says Rochelle Bloom, President. “That’s what the new Fragrance Superstar of the Year Award is all about because guests at the party on May 25th have the power to vote, right there on the spot, for the winner, regardless of gender or distribution.”

How is it going to work? At a strategic moment during the evening’s proceedings, attendees will be given a hand-held voting device to enable them to instantly vote for their favorite overall fragrance. The voting will appear on large screens so everyone can follow along. The winner will receive a coveted crystal statuette immediately. Here are the top ten finalists that came out of the vote taken during The FiFi Finalists’ Breakfast in April:

Top Ten FiFi Finalists Announced


Rochelle Bloom, President of The Fragrance Foundation is pleased to share the 2011 Top Ten FiFi Finalists following the closing of the first-ever online voting procedure. “Announcing the top ten finalists is exciting as now we can really say we are in FiFi mode and look forward to the fun and anticipation at The FiFi Finalists Breakfast on April 8th when it gets narrowed down to the Top Five,” commented Ms. Bloom.

“Making the change from paper ballots of previous years to online balloting has proven to be a great success.” added Mary Ellen Lapsansky, Vice President. “Being able to view all the beautiful visuals of exquisite bottles, innovative packaging, spectacular media campaigns in video and print brought The FiFi voting process to life.” Ms. Lapsansky was instrumental in ensuring the smooth transition from paper to online that took several months to set up.

Looking Forward to the 2011 FiFi Awards


“We are already in full FiFi mode!” says Rochelle Bloom, President of The Fragrance Foundation. “The brands are submitting their best fragrances, interior collections, bath and body products, packaging, media campaigns, technological breakthroughs, nominating a classic fragrance for Hall of Fame status or for the new Fragrance Superstar of the Year.
