FiFi Celebration Continues with Online Charity Auction

The Fragrance Foundation‘s FiFi Awards were celebrated in high style at Alice Tully Hall on Monday, but the celebration continues with the FiFi Online Charity Auction which is running through May 31st.  As celebrity host, Jane Lynch, announced at the end of the show, the auction will benefit two worthy charities selected by Jane.

For the last week on Twitter, you’ve been guessing away at actress Jane Lynch’s Favorite Things to Smell.  This morning we drew our winner.  Here are the answers to the #JaneSmells Contest:

#1 – Morning coffee brewing
#2 – Springtime blooming jasmine
#3 – Jane’s wife Lara roasting chicken in the kitchen
#4 – Freshly manured garden
#5 – Crushing fresh mint

At last night’s 2012 FiFi Fragrance Awards to celebrate and honor the art, passion and personalities of the fragrance world, Golden Globe and Emmy winning actress and comedian Jane Lynch brought the house down with her opening remarks that went something like this:

“I’m honored to be here tonight to serve as your host. Selecting me as host makes perfect sense, because when you think of a sexy, delicate and floral fragrance, you think, “Jane Lynch.”

Kanye West, Kim Kardashian and Richard E Grant were amongst the guests at Thursday night’s UK FiFi Awards Ceremony, which took place at The Brewery in the financial centre of London. The black tie event hosted by George Lamb was one of the largest in the awards’ history: well over 500 guests watched as the industry handed out prizes to some of the most popular and highly-respected fragrances released in the UK in 2011.
